The most common design for new screen enclosures in southwest Florida. This design ascends from the gutter which go to a flat top and then descends to the top of the wall. Each side of the roof is called the hips of the cage. In every corner you have a diagonal support called a corner jack, which consequently is within the screen panel called a corner hip. There can also be inside hips or inside corner hips which may or may not have a corner jack.
