A heavy-duty polymer formula provides a stronger material than the standard 18×14 fiberglass mesh. 17×14 Super Screen is backed with a 10 year limited manufacturer warranty but will likely last 20-50 years. Super Screen is also resistant to pet punctures and tears. Super Screen also comes with stability from UV damage, meaning it is virtually unaffected by the sun; it will not result in bleaching, flaking, and fading, and becoming brittle like the fiberglass screens. The UV rating on this screen does act as a sun blocker when used on roof panels. However, if you’re trying to get some sun while in your screen enclosure, this screen is like wearing SPF 30 or 50!
